Babar Returned To The Pavilion After Scoring Only 1 Run in The First Innings

Even in the second Test match of the Australia tour, Babar Azam failed to play an effective innings. In Pakistan’s first innings, Babar returned to the pavilion after scoring only 1 run.

During Pakistan’s first innings in the ongoing match in Melbourne, Australian captain Pat Cummins bowled Babar Azam to the pavilion with a personal score of just 1 run.

Pakistan’s openers Abdullah Shafiq (62) and Shan Masood were on the crease with half-century innings, but after the fall of Shafiq’s wicket, Babar came in to bat. Pakistan expected a big innings from him, but he failed in the second test also.

Azam Had Been A Victim Of Cummins Earlier Also:-

Babar has failed to play even a single successful innings in the Australia tour. Even in the first test, he did not even cross the 25-run mark.

At the same time, in the first Test match held in Perth, Pat Cummins became a lesson of trouble for Babar Azam. Cummins had Babar Azam caught out in the second innings of the first test.

Babar Azam Played Innings Of 21 And 14 Runs Respectively:-

In this match, Babar had scored only 35 runs in both the innings. In the first test match against Australia, Babar Azam played innings of 21 and 14 runs respectively.

Talking about Melbourne, after bowling out the hosts for 318 runs in the first session on the second day, Pakistan’s Abdullah Shafiq made a partnership of more than 90 runs with captain Shan Masood. Both batsmen completed their half-centuries.
