After which Dinesh Chandimal and Angeli Mathew shared a 100-run partnership. It was proving difficult to break this partnership, so New Zealand captain Tim Southee took the new ball.

As soon as he got the new ball, he himself came to bowl and bowled the first ball of the 82nd over outside off Chandimal.

On the other hand, he suddenly changed the line and length on the second ball and surprised everyone. Actually, Southee put the ball straight in the root which entered the stump. Chandimal was surprised to see this and his eyes were left open.

Talking about the match, the Sri Lankan team scored 355 runs while batting first. In response to which the New Zealand team scored 373 runs due to the century of Daryl Mitchell.

At the same time, by the end of the third day, Sri Lanka has scored 302 runs in the second innings and now New Zealand will have to score 285 runs to win.
