UAE U-19 Player Dhruv Parashar To Replace Injured Ronak Panoly in DP World ILT20

DP World ILT20 2023: UAE U-19 player Dhruv Parashar will replace injured Ronak Panoly in DP World ILT20.

Designated as a replacement Player:-

UAE U-19 spin-bowling all-rounder Dhruv Parashar has been named as a replacement player for Desert Vipers’ DP World ILT20 campaign, replacing his injured UAE U-19 teammate Raunak Panoli.

Ronak Panoly’s left shoulder injury has limited his fielding ability, meaning he will not be able to operate at the required capacity for the tournament.

Desert Vipers director of cricket Tom Moody expressed his disappointment for Ronak and said: “Obviously a big blow for him.

He was full of enthusiasm as you would expect as an exciting young player from the UAE joins the Desert Vipers.

Hope to see him back in future editions of the tournament:-

But unfortunately, the decision was taken to release him from a fitness point of view, and to get his shoulder back for his own assurance.

“Ronak will remain with the squad to receive treatment and feel part of the group. He is an impressive youngster, and we hope to see him back in future editions of the tournament.

Commenting on Panoli’s replacement, Moody said: “Dhruv Parashar is an excellent replacement, and we are fortunate to be able to call upon him.

“He was part of the Desert Vipers UAE trials held in October last year. And head coach James Foster and I got a chance to watch him in action then.

Highlighted Dhruv as a Player:-

Dhruv was highlighted as a player we wanted to keep an eye on. He impressed us in testing, and he looks natural.

With ball in hand or bat in hand, he looks like he can play a role immediately. But at the same time, he has a lot in store that is exciting.

Parashar was an outstanding player for the UAE Under-19 team and was the joint second-highest wicket-taker for his team. With eight wickets in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup held in the West Indies earlier last year.
