Another big decision has been taken in this series. Former Pakistan cricket team captain Mohammad Yousuf has been appointed the head coach of the national Under-19 team ahead of next year’s Asia Cup and World Cup.

Earlier recently, PCB appointed former fast bowler Wahab Riaz as the chief selector of the national selection committee.
Apart from Riyaz, former cricketer Mohammad Hafeez has been made the director of the men’s cricket team. It is hoped that he can also become the coach of the green team for the tour of Australia and New Zealand.
49-year-old Mohammad Yusuf has a long experience of grooming players. He has served as a batting coach for Pakistan and in the National Cricket Academy located in Lahore.
Yusuf had achieved many special achievements during his cricket career. The most special among these is the record of scoring the most runs in a calendar year. He achieved this special achievement in the year 2006.
Yousuf played for Pakistan for almost 12 years between 1998 and 2010. Meanwhile, while playing 381 international matches, he scored 17300 runs in 432 innings.

In international cricket, Yousuf has 39 centuries, four double centuries and 97 half-centuries in his name. While bowling, he has had one success in the ODI format.
