Victorian captain Peter Handscomb Signs With Renegades After Two Seasons With Hobart Hurricanes, fueling another experience for the club as they try to avoid a fourth straight wooden spoon

The Last minute signing with Melbourne Renegades:-

Handscomb has finally secured a deal for KFC BBL|12, having signed for last season’s Wooden Spooners with Melbourne Renegades at the last minute.

The Victoria skipper has been brilliant in the four-day and 50-over formats over the past three summers and is currently at the top of the Marsh Sheffield Shield run-scorers list after the first six rounds of the 2022-23 season.

The 31-year-old joined wicketkeeper-batsman John Wells and right-arm pacer Tom Rogers as the competition’s fourth-highest run-scorers as the Renegades made experienced additions to the BBL12.

With Handscomb completing the Renegades’ 18-player squad for BBL|12, he withdrew from the tournament due to increased workload.
