Odisha Train Accident: Virat Kohli donated crores of rupees for the victims of Odisha train accident A horrific train accident took place on Friday evening in Balasore, Odisha.

In this, about 275 people have lost their lives and more than 1000 are injured. As soon as the information about the accident was received, Virat Kohli had expressed grief over it by tweeting.

He wrote that ‘Sad to hear about the painful train accident in Odisha. I am praying for the families who lost their loved ones in the accident and wish the injured a speedy recovery.

Following Virat Kohli’s tweet, a post on social media claimed that he has donated Rs 30 crore to the Odisha train accident relief fund.

Kohli always comes forward to help people and he can do that. But at present there is no solid evidence for this claim.

No official statement has also come out regarding this. Nor has any statement or tweet of Kohli or his team surfaced on social media on this.

Former Indian team cricketer Virender Sehwag has extended a helping hand to help. The children were orphaning due to the Odisha train accident.
