Another fan says that when Kohli comes to their country, Pakistan will be jam-packed and it will be a special moment to watch him play at the Gaddafi Stadium. Kohli’s posters will be seen in every street and corner. He pleads, “Please, Virat Kohli, come to Pakistan once.”

Kohli Has Never Played in Pakistan

Virat Kohli first played an international match for India in 2008. The last series between India and Pakistan was played in 2005-06. Since then, the Indian team has never toured Pakistan.

However, Kohli has played against Pakistan in ICC tournaments but has never been able to play on Pakistani soil.

In T20 cricket, Kohli has scored 488 runs at an astonishing average of 81.3 in 10 matches against Pakistan. In ODI cricket, he has scored 678 runs at an average of 52.15 in 16 matches against Pakistan.

Will Team India Go To Pakistan?

The ICC Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held in Pakistan next year. The big question is whether the Indian team will go to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy.

Earlier, Pakistan hosted the Asia Cup 2023, but India’s matches were moved to Sri Lanka. A similar decision could be taken regarding the Champions Trophy 2025.
