Before the start of the Test series, big news has come out. Indian team’s experienced batsman Virat Kohli has returned home due to a family emergency.

Not only this, the team’s young promising batsman Rituraj Gaikwad has also been ruled out of the upcoming series. It is being told that Gaikwad has injured his finger.
King Kohli was rested from the recently concluded limited-overs formats against Australia and South Africa. However, he has been included in the blue team for the Test series.
But before the start of the series, he decided to go home. Not only this, he is also not a part of the three-day intra-squad match being held before the Test series in Africa. He had obtained permission from the team management before returning home.
According to the report of Cricbuzz, complete information as to why Virat Kohli had to return home suddenly is not yet known. He will return to South Africa on 22 December (Friday).

Kohli was last seen in a blue jersey for the Indian team during the World Cup. During this period, a lot of runs were scored from his bat.
He played a total of 11 matches for the team in the prestigious tournament. During this period, 765 runs were scored from his bat in 11 innings at an average of 95.62. A total of three centuries and six half-centuries were seen from the bat of King Kohli in the tournament.
