Wasim Jaffer tweeted, “I hope Sanju Samson gets a chance in Team India for T20s and ODIs against Sri Lanka and New Zealand. And may his race continue to be long.

Sanju Samson played 10 ODIs and only six T20Is for India in 2022. In ODIs, the right-handed batsman scored 284 runs at an average of 70 and a strike rate of 103.

After that the situation started getting worse for him and then he almost stopped getting chances. In T20Is, the RR skipper impressed everyone by batting from No.3 to seven.
