West Indies announced the T20I squad for the upcoming three series against South Africa, Australia, and Pakistan

The West Indies have started preparations for the World T20 to be held on Indian soil in October. In view of this, the two-time champion Caribbean team is going to play 15 T20 Internationals in the next two months. For the T20 series against South Africa, Australia, and Pakistan, the team has the entry of experienced and dangerous players like Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard

Youngsters also got a place in the team

The West Indies have made a good inclusion of young-experienced players in their 18-man squad. Most of the players in the team that won the T20 International series 2–1 against Sri Lanka have been retained. The captaincy will be with Pollard. batsman and part-time wicketkeeper Nicholas Pooran, who played for Punjab Kings in the IPL, has been elected vice-captain. Pacers Shimron Hetmyer, Kevin Sinclair, Hayden Walsh Jr., Sheldon Cottrell have also featured in the squad. Pacer Fidel Edwards is also making a comeback.
