Sunrisers Eastern Cape, batting first, scored a huge score of 204 runs. Tom Abell scored 55 runs, captain Aiden Markram scored 42 runs and wicketkeeper Tristan Stubbs scored 56 runs to take the team to a huge score.

In reply, Durban Super Giants were bundled out for 115 runs. Marco Jansen took five wickets in the title match. The player of the match in the final was Tom Abel, who scored 55 runs in 34 balls. Durban Super Giants player Heinrich Klaasen was named the best player of the tournament.
