Who Is Shitanshu Kotak: Team India Will Have Head Coach in IND vs IRE Series 2023. India A head coach and National Cricket Academy batting coach Sitanshu Kotak will be the head coach of the Indian cricket team for the three T20 matches against Ireland.

Kotak has been the head coach of India A for the last few years:-

Kotak, who has good experience in domestic cricket, is part of the NCA coaching set-up and will also lead the support staff in the three T20Is against Ireland. Former Saurashtra batsman Kotak has been the head coach of India A for the past few years.

NCA chief VVS Laxman was expected to accompany the Indian team to Ireland but now he will not go with the team as he is overseeing the ongoing emerging camp in Bengaluru.

Gave a break for the series due to a busy schedule:-

While head coach Rahul Dravid and batting coach Vikram Rathour, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey have been given a break for the series due to the busy schedule of the Asia Cup and then the World Cup.

Rahul Dravid and Vikram Rathour are currently in the US for the last two T20Is against the West Indies in Florida and will rejoin the team for preparations for the Asia Cup later this month.

India will take on Ireland in a three-match T20I series in Dublin on the 18th, 20th, and 23rd of August, and all eyes will be on the return of Jasprit Bumrah.

The fast bowler has been out of the Indian team since September last year and will be keen to play a few matches before the Asia Cup and the World Cup so that he doesn’t face any problems in the upcoming big tournaments.
