The Mumbai youngster on Saturday said he will continue to rely on his natural ‘aggressive’ game to win back his place in the national team.

Shaw played his last match for India in a T20 International against Sri Lanka in Colombo in July 2021.
Shaw said after the Duleep Trophy match between Central Zone and West Zone, “Personally, I do not feel that I need to change my game.
Yes, I can improve my game intelligently. I can’t bat like Cheteshwar Pujara sir or Pujara sir can’t bat like me.
I’m trying to do the same thing:-
The West Zone opener said, “I am trying to do the same thing with the help of which I have reached here. For example my aggressive batting. I don’t want to change this.”
Shaw said he is looking to play as many matches as possible at this stage of his career.
The 23-year-old said that every run will be very important for him as he tries to make a comeback in the Indian team.
This opener said, “I think every match that I am getting a chance to play at this time is very important for me.
Whether I play Duleep Trophy or play a match for Mumbai, I think it is very important for me to give my best.
Good starts in both innings of the Duleep Trophy semi-final:-
Prithvi, however, failed to convert good starts into big scores in both innings of the Duleep Trophy semi-final. He played innings of 25 and 26 runs.
Shaw said that the conditions were challenging for the batsmen here but they had a plan to deal with it.

He said, “It is not possible that you are perfect all the time. After things like this happen (not getting runs), I try to work harder. T20 is a bit more aggressive, but the mindset is the same.
