Why did the owner of the PSL franchise Alamgir Tareen commit suicide? Alamgir Tareen, the owner of the Pakistan Super League franchise Multan Sultans, has stepped down.

After which his dead body was found in his house in Lahore. According to reports received from Pakistan media, the reason behind his suicide has come to the fore.

Haider Azhar, CEO of Multan Sultans Owner, himself confirmed the news and expressed deep sorrow and condolences to Tareen’s family. Let’s know what was the reason.

Quoting police officials, Geo TV reported that Alamgir Khan had left behind a suicide note.

In the suicide note, the cause of suicide has been attributed to the disease, due to which he was very upset. However, Alamgir’s friends said that he never talked about his illness in front of them.

“We stand in solidarity with Alamgir Khan’s family and Multan Sultans at this difficult time,” the franchise said in a statement.

According to the official website of Multan Sultans, “Alamgir was a sports lover who wanted to work towards setting up a platform for aspiring sportspersons and provide them with the best possible resources to further develop their skills.”
