It is expecting that after the conclusion of the season, BCCI officials can openly discuss this topic with Gambhir.

The final of IPL 2024 is to be played on May 26, while BCCI has fixed May 27 as the last date to apply for the post of coach.

Is Part Of The Kolkata Knight Riders Staff in 2024

It is worth noting that Gautam Gambhir does not have any experience of coaching even at the international or domestic level. He was the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants in 2022-2023 and is now part of the staff of Kolkata Knight Riders in 2024.

As long as Gambhir was with LSG, his team reached the playoffs both times, while now in IPL 2024, he has helped KKR become the table topper.

Recall that last year, after the 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup, Rahul Dravid’s tenure as coach was extending, which will end on June 30.
