WI vs BAN: Tamim Iqbal became the second Bangladesh batsman after Mushfiqur Rahim to reach the 5000 Test run landmark.

The legendary Bangladesh batsman was just 19 runs short of the 5000 Test run milestone before the first Test against West Indies and he easily achieved the milestone in the match.

In the first Test against West Indies, Tamim Iqbal was dismissed by Alzarri Joseph in the 14th over. And he could score 29 runs in 43 balls including 4 fours.

Tamim has played a total of 68 Test matches for the Bangladesh national cricket team and has scored 5010 runs in 129 innings at an average of 39.44.

He also broke 10 centuries and 31 half-centuries:-
