Wicketkeeper-batsman Saha recovered from Corona infection

Wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha has recovered from Corona infection and will be available for the Indian team’s tour of England next month.
Saha reached Kolkata after fifteen days of isolation in a hotel in Delhi. He has been included in the squad to tour England on the condition of being fit.

Saha, had a corona infection while playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League 2021. A source close to Saha said, “Wriddhiman returned home yesterday. He was on a two-week stay in a hotel in Delhi.”
Saha needed a negative report of the RT PCR test to go into the bio bubble before departure in Mumbai. A few days before this, Wriddhiman Saha’s report came positive, on which he gave an explanation on his official account.

Earlier in the IPL, SRH wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha said about his experience against Corona that he was scared after getting Corona positive.

He had said, “I got scared after being infected with Corona. Everyone in the family was also very worried, though I convinced them through video calls that there was nothing to fear. I am being properly looked after. “

Ever since Wriddhiman Saha played the last Test for Team India with a pink ball in Adelaide, Australia, in which Team India was all out for 36 runs. Since then, it has been difficult for him to return to the playing eleven of the Test team.

Rishabh Pant’s fiery innings in the Sydney Test and Brisbane Test ensured that Pant would remain the Team India’s wicketkeeper on Team India’s home tours and in the fourth Test against England, Pant also ended his rightful hopes by scoring a century.

Saha can be made a part of the squad going to England. But if Pant is not injured, he will not get a place in the ICC World Test Championship, as well as in the England series, he will also have to sit in the dressing room.
The Indian team will play the World Test Championship final against New Zealand from June 18 in Southampton. The five-Test series against England will take place in August.
