According to the latest reports, pacer Hazlewood will not be able to play the entire season of IPL 2024. Cricket Australia has informed BCCI regarding the availability of all Australian players.
The countdown for the IPL 2024 auction to be held in Dubai has started. Earlier, other cricket boards shared with BCCI the list of players available for the league.
During this time, Cricket Australia has made it clear that except for Josh Hazlewood, other players can remain available for the entire season of IPL.
Fast Bowler Will Look For A New Team in The Auction:-
Josh Hazlewood was included in the RCB squad in the last IPL. Recently, news of his becoming a father came to light, after which the franchise released him. In such a situation, the fast bowler will have to look for a new team in the auction.
Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood is going to become a father. Some time ago, Andy Flower, the head coach of his former team Royal Challengers Bangalore, confirmed this and said, โHazelwood is going to have a child by the end of next March. โThatโs why Josh wonโt be with us, certainly not for the first half of the season.โ
Fast Bowlers Will Join The League in The First Week Of May:-
Except for Josh Hazlewood, other Australian players will be seen playing the entire season of IPL 2024. But fast bowlers will join the league from the first week of May.
Josh was bought by RCB for Rs 7.75 crore, after which he played a full 12 matches for the franchise. He took 20 wickets for RCB at an average of 18.85.
