But hold on, there’s more to this story than just the scorecard. After the match, RCB’s senior player Dinesh Karthik dropped a big hint that might signal his retirement from the IPL.

So, what did DK say?
When asked if this was his last match at the iconic Chepauk stadium, Karthik replied, “I hope to return to Chepauk for the playoffs, but if not, then this might be my final IPL match here.”
This basically means DK could be calling it quits on the IPL if RCB doesn’t make it to the playoffs!
DK’s IPL Journey
Dinesh Karthik debuted in the IPL way back in 2004. Since then, he’s racked up over 200 IPL matches, scoring a whopping 4000+ runs! But that’s not all. He’s also a phenomenal wicketkeeper, with over 190 catches and 40+ stumpings to his name.
So, the question is – Will DK retire from the IPL?
We don’t know for sure yet, but his statement has definitely sparked some debate!
