The veteran fast bowler posted pictures of his conversation with top BJP leaders on his Instagram account, which have now gone viral on social media.

This program was of the Egas Celebration, which is a traditional festival of Uttarakhand. The program was organized by BJP leader Anil Baluni at his residence.

On this occasion, Mohammed Shami along with Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal, Home Minister Amit Shah and NSA Ajit Doval also participated. After Shami’s pictures with BJP leaders surfaced, the discussion intensified on whether the Indian bowler would now enter politics.

Recent events also indicate that Mohammed Shami may join the BJP. Recently, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had also announced plans to build a cricket stadium in Shami’s hometown Amroha to honor his brilliant performance in the World Cup. Not only this, but recently Mohammed Shami praised the Prime Minister.

Shami created history by taking a total of 24 wickets in the World Cup 2023. However, the Indian team had to face defeat against Australia in the World Cup final.

After the team’s defeat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Indian players in the dressing room and encouraged everyone.
