Lata Mandal, the batswoman of the Women’s Bangladesh Cricket Team, had received lakhs of offers for spot-fixing. Let’s know what is the whole matter after all.
Before the match between Australia and Bangladesh in the ICC T20 World Cup, Bangladeshi cricketer Lata Mondal was offered spot-fixing by a senior player of her own team, Shohely Akhter.
Shohely is currently not part of the women’s Bangladesh squad for the T20 World Cup. However, Lata Mondal was later dropped from the playing XI for the match against Australia and the Australian team won the matches by 9 wickets.
Shohely offered spot-fixing to Mandal:-
Revsportz has also heard recordings of Shohely Akhter and Lata Mondal making offers of spot-fixing. Apart from this, there is information about this on Bangladeshi Jamuna channel as well.
However, Shohely Akhter has agreed to receive a proposal with Akash, a gambler. Akhter had described Akash as his cousin from Mandal.
At the same time, Akhtar also told that she knows Akash from Facebook and Akash had said that all the players are corrupt, so she had offered Mandal to prove him wrong.
Akhter offered lakhs to Lata:-
Shohely offers spot-fixing and tells Lata that there is nothing to be afraid of, I will not cause any harm. You can do fixing whenever you want and if you don’t want to do fixing then it’s okay.
It is up to you to decide which match you can fix, if you do well in one match, you can get stumped or hit wicket out in another.
You will get 20 to 30 lakh rupees for hit wicket and if stumping out then you will get 5 lakh rupees.
On the other hand, Akhtar further says that if this money seems less then you can tell that I will talk to my brother and you remember that these things are only between you and me.
To this Lata says that friend, I am not in all this and don’t tell me all these things. I can’t do such things please.

After that Akhter again says that Lata you can trust me 100 percent. This thing will remain between me and you. However, Lata refuses this offer.
Lata Mandal has lodged a complaint with the Bangladesh Cricket Board and the team management. At the same time, BCB is taking this matter very seriously.
