Mithali Becomes World’s First Women Cricketer:-

The captaincy of the team, Mithali Raj made a World Record as soon as she stepped on the field. Mithali has become the first woman cricketer in the world to have played the most number of ICC World Cup tournaments.

This is his sixth World Cup. With this, Mithali has also equaled Sachin Tendulkar (Most World Cup for India).

The Most World Cup Playing Women Cricketers:-

India Women’s Cricket Team’s first match in this World Cup was with Pakistan (India vs Pakistan Live), although Mithali Raj failed to play big innings in this match. Mithali scored only 9 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar holds The World Record for playing the most number of World Cups in Indian men’s cricket. He has also played 6 World Cups. Mithali Raj has equaled Sachin Tendulkar.
