The New Zealand women’s cricket team and Bangladesh were face to face (NZ vs BAN Women’s) in the Women’s World Cup on Monday.

This was the second match for both. New Zealand secured their first win of the tournament by defeating Bangladesh. Bangladesh suffered its second consecutive defeat. Suzy Bates was adjudged player of the match.

Women’s World Cup 2022: New Zealand captain Sophie Devine won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Bangladesh got off to a strong start, with Shamima Sultana (33) and Farzana Hoque (52) putting on 59 runs for the first wicket.
After this, no other Bangladesh batsman could play a big inning. Amy Sattherwaite took 3 wickets for New Zealand. Sammy conceded 25 runs in five overs.
The New Zealand Won by 9 Wickets
Women’s World Cup 2022: New Zealand women’s cricket team beat Bangladesh by 9 wickets. Bangladesh team had set a target of 141 runs for the victory in front of New Zealand.
Captain Sophie Devine was dismissing for 14. But after that Amelia Kerr and Suzie Bates combined to give New Zealand victory.
