Women’s World Cup 2022: South Africa beat Bangladesh by 32 runs Bangladesh women’s cricket team and South Africa women’s cricket team started. Their World Cup campaign is on Saturday.

South African team beat Bangladesh by 32 runs. Ayabanga Khaka was adjudged the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.

Wolvaardt Scored 41 Runs:-

After losing the toss, the South Africa team went to bat first. Opener batsman Laura Wolvaardt scored 41 runs. After him, captain Sune Loos also scored an important 25 runs.

Marijne Kapp scored 42 and Chloe Tryon scored 39. Fariha Trishna took 3 wickets for Bangladesh. He conceded only 35 runs in 10 overs.

Jahanara Alam and Ritu Moni took 2 wickets each. South Africa’s innings ended one ball before the allotted 50 overs. The team had set a target of 208 runs for Bangladesh to win.

The Added 69 Runs for The First Wicket:-

Chasing the target of 208, Bangladesh started well. With openers Shamima Sultana and Sharmin Akhtar added 69 runs for the first wicket.

However, Bangladesh’s innings faltered after that, and South African bowlers continued to pick up wickets.

Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana scored 29 and Rumana Ahmed made 21. South African bowler Ayabanga Khaka took 4 wickets. He conceded only 32 runs in 10 overs.
