Meanwhile, Indian cricketers are also watching the auction process on TV. As soon as Indian team’s star cricketer Smriti Mandhana was bought by RCB (RCB WPL Team) for 3 crore 40 lakhs, all the players started celebrating.

As soon as Mandhana’s bid started, all the Indian women players started dancing, but Mandhana remained seated on her chair. Mandhana was sitting in the jersey of the Indian team.

RCB Joined the race after making the first bid:-

Smriti Mandhana was the first player whose bid started the auction process. During their bid Mumbai made the first bid followed by RCB in the race. The fight between the two continued till the end and in the end RCB won.

The Bangalore franchise was bought by Royal Challengers Sports Pvt Ltd for Rs 901 crore. The group is owned by United Spirits, which was acquired by the Diageo Group.
