WPL 2023 Harmanpreet Kaur: We Were Waiting For This For Year. Mumbai Indians have created history in the very first season of the Women’s Premier Cricket League 2023.

They defeated Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets in the match played at Brabourne Stadium on Sunday.

It was the title match and by winning it, they have become the first team to get the Women’s Premier League trophy. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur looked very happy after this victory.

Captain Kaur Scored 37 Runs in 39 Balls:-

Batting first after winning the toss in the title match, the Delhi team scored 131 runs losing 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Captain Meg Lanning (35) scored the most runs from Delhi. In reply, Mumbai team achieved the target by losing 3 wickets in 19.3 overs.

Veteran Nat Sciver-Brunt from Mumbai scored an unbeaten 60 off 55 balls to seal the win. Apart from him, captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 37 runs in 39 balls.
