On the other hand, Mitali has played 89 T20 matches for the country in which he has scored 2,364 runs at an average of 37.52. He last played a T20 match for India in 2019 against England at home.

He continued to play ODIs and Tests before announcing his retirement in June 2022. Mithali has been the face of Indian women’s cricket for decades and her participation in the Women’s Premier League will only add to the brand value.
