WPL 2023: Neeraj Chopra Reveals His Favorite Cricketers Before The Final. And the Olympic champions remember the women’s team in an inspirational meeting.

The final match of the Women’s Premier League is to be played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals Women at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai today, March 26.

Meanwhile, before the final match of WPL 2023, Olympic gold medalist and the first Indian athlete to win a medal in the Diamond League, Neeraj Chopra has revealed his favorite players.
He has named Harmanpreet, Shefali, and Smriti as his favorite cricketers. Apart from this, he also remembered the inspirational meeting with the Women’s Cricket Team.

Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra has shown a lot of interest in cricket of late. She inspired the players by going to South Africa during the Under-19 Women’s World Cup.
At the same time, he has also shared the names of his favorite players before the final of WPL 2023. In WPL, he has named MI captain Harmanpreet, Delhi Capitals opener Shefali, and RCB captain Smriti as his favorite players.

It was the first time I met the Indian women’s cricket team and it was great to see India win the World Cup in South Africa.
Today I have come to meet them again and it is great to see the atmosphere of the tournament, the people supporting women’s cricket, the kind of matches being played, and the competition.”
When asked about his views on WPL, Neeraj said that “Both men and women compete in the Olympics. But it’s great to see women’s cricket getting recognition and support from people.”
Chopra also urged people to support the players in their tough times and said that “we cannot always perform well and that is when we need people’s support the most.
