WPL 2023 Prize Money: BCCI Winner Will Give Prize Money To The Runner-Up And 3rd Number Team. The Women’s Premier League has started.

The second and 3rd-numbered teams will compete for the finals.

The group stage will end on March 21, after which the team at the top of the points table will enter the final, while the second and 3rd-placed teams will play for the final.

The bottom 2 teams in the table will be eliminated. Here we are telling you how much prize money will be given to the winner, runner-up, and third team of the Women’s Premier League.

This is the first edition of the Women’s Premier League. The BCCI is hopeful that the way the Indian Premier League has been loved in India, the Women’s Premier League will also find love.

A total of 5 teams are playing in the first edition. Mumbai Indians, UP Warriors, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, and Royal Challengers Bangalore are the teams playing in the first edition.

Prize money in the Women’s Premier League:-

Before knowing the prize money of the Women’s Premier League, let us tell you the format of the tournament. Right now there are five teams, between which 20 matches will be played.

After these 20 matches are held in the group stage, the top 3 teams in the points table will go ahead and the journey of the bottom 2 teams will end. The number one team will reach the final to be held on March 26.

The eliminator match will be played between the second and third numbered teams at DY Patil Stadium on March 24.

The losing team would become the third-place team, and the winning team would advance to the finals. The final will be played at the Brabourne Stadium on 26 March.
