WPL 2023 Schedule: Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani’s team will be face-to-face in the first match on 4th March. The first edition of the Women’s IPL is going to start on March 4.

Ambani’s Ahmedabad team will be face to face:-

In the first match, Mukesh Ambani’s Mumbai and Gautam Ambani’s Ahmedabad teams will be face-to-face. All the matches of the women’s IPL will be played in Mumbai, although it will not be Wankhede.

According to the report of Cricbuzz, according to a schedule being circulated, the first match will be played between Mumbai and Ahmedabad team on Saturday 4th March.

This match will be between the team of two biggest businessmen of the country. On one side the owner of the Mumbai team will be Mukesh Ambani and on the other hand the owner of the Ahmedabad team Gautam Adani.

According to the report, the entire women’s IPL will be organized on two grounds in Mumbai. The five-team tournament will be held at Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium.

There will also be double headers, although there will be no matches at Wankhede, Mumbai’s biggest stadium. In fact, the match will not be played at Wankhede in view of the men’s IPL and India vs Australia ODI series.

The top team will directly enter the final:-

As per the schedule, the team which will be on top of the points table after the group stage matches will directly enter the finals.

There will be a sole eliminator between the 2nd and 3rd placed team while the bottom 2 teams in the points table will be eliminating. The winner of the Eliminator match will be the second finalist. A total of 22 matches will be playing in the tournament.

There will be 5 days in the middle of the tournament when there will be no matches.

And there will be no matches on March 17, 19. There will be a break of 2 days after all the matches of the group stage are playing.

The women’s Premier League will have double headers:-

The Elementor match will take place on March 24. After this, there will be a break on 25th and the final match of the tournament will be played on 26th.

The first match will be between Mumbai and Ahmedabad, for the second time both the teams will face each other on March 14.

The second match of the tournament will be holding at the CCI (Brabourne Stadium) between Delhi and Bangalore, a double header on the day. The second match will be between Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
