WPL Auction 2023: The Auction for Women’s Premier League is to be held in Mumbai today. All eyes are on the Women’s Premier League auction. Today, a lot of money will be bid on women players.
The 409 Players shortlisted in WPL Cricket Auction:-
Players will be auctioned (WPL Cricket Auction) for this league, which is going to be held for the first time on the lines of IPL, in which 409 players have been shortlisted (WPL Auction 2023 Players List).

Out of these only 90 players will be auctioned. That is, there can be a maximum of 18 women players in a team (When is WPL Auction 2023).
The auction for the Women’s Premier League has been held in Mumbai. Which will start on February 13 i.e. today at 2:30 pm.
The auction is going to be very interesting. Because the way players are auctioned for IPL, similarly players will be auctioned for Women’s Premier League.
The Players from 15 countries included in the auction including India
Many players are expected to get huge amount from this auction, while many poor players are also going to become rich. BCCI is organizing this league. This league will be organized from March 4 to 26.
Players from Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ireland, Zimbabwe including India are included while eight players are from Associate countries UAE, Hong Kong, Thailand, Netherlands, and the USA.
Mumbai Indians Squad Total Rs 60 crore in Purse for auction:-
Let us tell you that for the women’s IPL auction, each team will have Rs 12-12 crore in their purse. That is, a total of 60 crore rupees can be spent in the auction.
Every franchisee will have to spend at least Rs 9-9 crore in the auction. In this auction, 24 players have kept their base price of Rs 50 lakh.
While the base price of 30 players is Rs 40 lakh. After this, players with base prices of 30, 20 and 10 lakhs are also present in the list.

The Women’s Premier League auction will take place in Mumbai today from 2:30 PM. Whereas, as Mumbai Indians go on buying their players by bidding during the auction, the same will be updated here.
