WTC Final 2023: Ponting Warns His Team After Watching Virat Kohli’s Batting. India is in the grip of IPL right now. After the IPL, the final match of the Test Championship will be played between India and Australia next month.
Virat Kohli has scared the kangaroos before the final match. This veteran player of Royal Challengers Bangalore played an inning of 100 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday. Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting is scared to see his classical innings.
WTC final will be played in England next month:-
Virat Kohli has made it very clear that he will not change his technique to become the explosive batsman in IPL as his WTC final is all set to begin next month from June 7.

Former Australia captain and Delhi Capitals coach Ricky Ponting says that Virat is all set for the World Test Championship final. Ponting reveals conversation with Kohli.
Virat is back to his best:-
Ponting said, ‘I met Virat about a month ago when we were in Bangalore. I talked to him about his batting.
He told me that he really feels like he is almost back to his absolute best.
Ponting then referred to Kohli’s century and said, “He is playing very well in the IPL. I am sure his wicket will be one that all Australians will be thinking of getting.”
Runs are coming off the bat continuously:-
After going through a two-year-long slump, Kohli has slowly got back to his touch since last year’s Asia Cup. Kohli made a comeback in the Asia Cup last year by scoring a century against Afghanistan.
Virat again performed brilliantly in the T20 World Cup. After this, a century came out of his bat in ODIs as well.

This is perhaps a major reason why Ponting sees the WTC final as a battle between India’s top-order and Australia’s pace attack led by skipper Pat Cummins.
