WTC Final 2023: The final match will be played with the Kookaburra ball Just after IPL 2023, Team India has to play the final of the World Test Championship against Australia from June 7 to 11 at The Oval in England.
All the fans are excited and waiting for this big match. A big update has come out regarding this match.
This match will be played with Kookaburra ball. Both the teams have agreed on this, after which the ICC has also given it the green signal.

World Test Championship 2023 final will be played with this ball:-
Former Australia captain Ricky Ponting also confirmed that the International Cricket Council has preferred the Kookaburra ball over the Dukes in the final of the World Test Championship.
The match is to be played on English soil and the Dukes ball is used in England. But now the twist is that Kookaburra ball will be used here instead of Duke.
This will be the first time:-
This will be the first outing when the Indian team will be seen playing with the Kookaburra ball in English conditions. This ball is mostly used in Australia.
Team India was defeated by New Zealand in the final of the last World Test Championship, so it will be interesting to see what will happen this time.
The specialty of the Kookaburra ball?
Kookaburra’s ball is hard. Pacers can generate bounce from this ball even when the machine stitch becomes turmeric.
Kookaburra loses its shape very quickly because of machine stitching. Only the stitching of the two middle lines holds the two parts of the ball together.

That’s why the stitching of these two lines is done by hand. The remaining four stripes are stitched with a machine.
