Indian former cricketer Yuvraj Singh took to Twitter to wish a speedy recovery for BCCI president and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly.
Sourav Ganguly felt dizzy while working out at the gym in his house. He was taken to Kolkata’s Woodlands hospital, where doctors said that arterial blockage was “critical” and that there were not one but multiple blockages.
Political heavyweights including West Bengal CM Mamata Banrerjee. And Governer Jagdeep Dhankhar among others also visited Ganguly at the hospital after the angioplasty was done to remove the blockages in his arteries.
Yuvraj Singh also came up with a tweet to wish his first India captain, calling him a fighter, who has always shown the way forward.
Sourav Ganguly has regained consciousness after undergoing angioplasty. A stent has been placed and doctors have declared Ganguly’s condition as stable.
In delightful news for millions of ‘Dada’ fans, Sourav Ganguly himself messaged India Today’s Boria Majumdar and said, “I will be fine.”
