Asia Cup 2023: Yuzvendra Chahal’s first tweet after being dropped from the Asia Cup squad. The Indian squad for the Asia Cup 2023 was announced on 21 August.

The Wrist spinner in the 17-member squad:-

Chief selector Ajit Agarkar and captain Rohit Sharma came together to announce the team. Kuldeep Yadav has been selected as the wrist spinner in the 17-member squad.

While Yuzvendra Chahal has not been given a place in the team. Chahal reacted to this through social media after the team selection. He has tweeted emojis on Twitter.

Talking about the one-day matches played by Yuzvendra Chahal this year, he has not played even half the matches compared to last year.

Chahal has played only two ODIs this year so far. Whereas in the year 2022, he played a total of 14 ODIs, in which he took 21 wickets.

Yuzvendra Chahal is not a part of the Asia Cup squad. But this is not the first time this has happened to him recently. Chahal was also not included in the squad for the World Cup 2021.
