PCB wrote a letter to the Prime Minister: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif seeking official permission to travel to India for participation in the ODI World Cup in October-November. According to the report, PCB has also sent this letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs and External Affairs.

The board sought advice on the national team’s visit to India :-

The board has sought advice on the national team’s trip to India. According to ESPNcricinfo, the board has also asked whether the government has any objection to the five venues for Pakistan’s matches. According to the report, this letter was written on 26 June. It also said that the PCB has shared the schedule of Pakistan’s matches with the government.

Cricket World Cup 2023: ‘Pakistan’s participation depends on the government’ :-

The PCB said, ‘Immediately after the announcement of the World Cup schedule, we wrote to our patron, Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, through the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination. We have also sent this letter to the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

We’ve requested him permission to participate in the World Cup. We have full faith in the decision of our government and will follow whatever advice is given.

The PCB told ESPNcricinfo, ‘The decision to give permission to tour India and play at the venue of our matches is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan. We have full faith in the decision of our government and will follow whatever advice given.

Cricket World Cup 2023: There will be a clash on October 15 :-

The ICC will organize the ODI World Cup in October-November to hosted by India. The match between India and Pakistan will held in Ahmedabad on 15 October. Pakistan last came to India to participate in the 2016 T20 World Cup.
