Chris Gayle and Fidel Edwards return to the West Indies T20I team after a long time

Chris Gayle will return to West Indies’ T20I squad for the series against Sri Lanka after 2 years and Fidel Edwards will also return to the same series after a long time of 9 years

Chris Gayle the most prolific batsman in T20 history, and experienced fast bowler Fidel Edwards, have been named in the T20I squad marking their return to the international stage

Fidel and Chris Gayle will selected for T20I matches, West Indies will play three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, which will be played between March 3- March 7 at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.

West Indies will also play Three One Day International matches against Sri Lanka which will start from 10 march to 14 march

The T20I matches will also be the first West Indies T20Is to be played in Antigua since 2013. West Indies will use these matches to prepare to defend their ICC T20 World Cup title scheduled to be played in India later this year.
