CWG 2022: Australia All-Rounder Tahlia McGrath has Tested Positive For COVID-19

Australia all-rounder Tahlia McGrath has tested positive for COVID-19, becoming the first athlete to compete in the Commonwealth Games despite being diagnosed with COVID-19.

The Commonwealth Games Federation RACEG:-

The all-rounder tested positive on the morning of the game but was cleared by the Commonwealth Games Federation RACEG (Result Analysis Clinical Expert Group) to play for Australia in their gold medal Twenty20 match against India at Edgbaston.

The Gold medal Despite COVID Test:-

McGrath plays in the gold medal match despite a positive COVID test. Tahlia did not sing the national anthem with her teammates before the match. And was repeatedly showing sitting away from the group wearing a mask on broadcasts.
