David Warner Record: David Warner broke Kohli’s Record, Became Only the third Batsman to do this Feat

David Warner has completed his 6000 runs in IPL. He has become the third batsman to do so. Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli have done this feat before him. However, Warner completed his 6000 IPL runs in the least number of innings (165). In this case, he has broken the record of Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli had completed his 6000 runs in 188 innings while Shikhar Dhawan took 199 innings for this.

In the match against Rajasthan, David Warner may not have been able to win his team, but he scored an inning of 65 runs. Warner remained frozen at one end, but no one supported him at the other end and his team had to face defeat.

David Warner is the third batsman to score 6000 runs in IPL. He is also third in terms of scoring the most runs in this tournament. Virat Kohli has scored the maximum 6727 runs in IPL. He has taken 217 innings for this. Whereas, Shikhar Dhawan has scored 6370 runs in 207 innings. David Warner has scored 6039 runs in 165 innings. Rohit Sharma is fourth in the list with 5880 runs in 223 innings. At the same time, Suresh Raina is in fifth place with 5528 runs in 200 innings.

13 batsmen have scored more than four thousand runs in IPL and David Warner has the highest average in this list. Warner has scored runs at an average of 42.28 and a strike rate of 140.08. Even in terms of strike rate, only Chris Gayle 148.96 and AB de Villiers 151.68 are ahead of him.
