However, Warner completed his 6000 IPL runs in the least number of innings (165). In this case, he has broken the record of Virat Kohli. Virat Kohli had completed his 6000 runs in 188 innings while Shikhar Dhawan took 199 innings for this.

In the match against Rajasthan, David Warner may not have been able to win his team, but he scored an inning of 65 runs. Warner remained frozen at one end, but no one supported him at the other end and his team had to face defeat.

13 batsmen have scored more than four thousand runs in IPL and David Warner has the highest average in this list. Warner has scored runs at an average of 42.28 and a strike rate of 140.08. Even in terms of strike rate, only Chris Gayle 148.96 and AB de Villiers 151.68 are ahead of him.
