Dravid: Rishabh plays positively and he plays in a particular manner

Rahul Dravid (in Press) said “We all know Rishabh Pant plays positively. It has got him lots of success – but there will be a time when to attack and when not to – he can change the game easily and he is learning game by game”. The face which Pant makes while batting makes me think that his stomach is upset.

Speaking to media after the second Test, Dravid said.

Rishabh Pant was the subject of much scrutiny following. His dismissal for a three-ball duck in the second innings of India’s defeat in Johannesburg. His decision to charge at Kagiso Rabada at a crucial juncture in the game was much questioned. Most notably by former India captain Sunil Gavaskar on commentary. Pant was dismissed amidst a hostile spell from Kagiso Rabada. Rabada wickets on the third day of the Test had negated India’s early advantage earned through the Ajinkya Rahane – Cheteshwar Pujara partnership.
