New Delhi: Former India opener Aakash Chopra has claimed that star batsman Suryakumar Yadav is India’s 360-degree player. Suryakumar batted explosively on Sunday, but India lost by 17 runs to England in the third T20I. The right-handed batsman hit several tempting shots to score a scintillating century.

Aakash Chopra heaped praise on Yadav after his sensational innings in the third T20I. As he compared the batsman with South African great AB de Villiers. Aakash Chopra said exclusively on Ku App, ‘Surya’s innings was not only brave, but also about his understanding of the game, where the fielders were and what the bowlers were likely to bowl. The guests won the T20I series against England 2-1

India may have lost the match, but the visitors went on to win the T20I series against England 2-1. England scored 215 runs in the stipulated 20 overs in the match as David Malan and Liam Livingston wreaked havoc on the Indian bowlers. Chasing 216, India got off to a poor start as the visiting team lost captain Rohit Sharma, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli within 5 overs.

However, it was Suryakumar Yadav’s sensational century (117) that brought India closer to the target before losing the match. Both the teams will now face each other in the ODI series starting on Tuesday.
