ENG vs NZ 1st Test: The first match of the three-Test series between England and New Zealand is being played at Lord’s. In the first Test, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bat first. Captain Kane Williamson sent to the pavilion by Matty Potts. This is the debut Test of fast bowler Potts and in the debut match itself; he got a big player like Williamson caught by wicketkeeper Ben Fox. Williamson could score two runs off 22 balls.

The Kiwi team got the fifth blow in the form of Daryl Mitchell. He could score 13 runs. At the same time; Tom Blundell dismissed after scoring 14 runs. Kyle Jamieson could score six runs. Potts sent Mitchell and Blundell to the pavilion in addition to Williamson in the debut match. At the same time, Jameson dismissed by Anderson.

Tim Southee and Trent Boult took New Zealand to 132 runs. Southee dismissed by Anderson for 26 runs. At the same time, Matty Potts and Trent Boult (14 runs) to Ajaz Patel (7 runs) dismissed by Ben Stokes.

Southee broke the back of England’s batting line up :-

Southee dismissed captain Ben Stokes for the fifth blow to England. Stokes made a run and caught by Blundell. After him, even Jonny Bairstow could not stand. He dismissed after scoring one run in nine balls.

Bairstow was clean bowled by Trent Boult. After dismissing Bairstow, Boult dismissed Potts after two balls. Couldn’t even open POTS account.
