England opener Tammy Beaumont returned to the top 10 with a jump of three places in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Rankings released on Tuesday after scoring a century (119) in the final match of her three-match ODI series against South Africa.
Disappointed at being dropped from England’s T20 squad for the Commonwealth Games, Tammy Beaumont scored 178 runs at an average of 59.33 in three ODIs against South Africa. In the new list of batsmen, the 31-year-old is now eighth in the list of experienced trio Chamari Athapathu, Smriti Mandhana and Ellyse Perry.
Tammy Beaumont’s teammates Danny Wyatt and Emma Lamb have taken a good lead in the weekly ranking update. Wyatt moved up to 24th place with 33 runs in the previous match. While Lamb climbed 35 places to 66th place with scores of 67 and 65 in the two matches he played last week. Sophia Dunkley moved up eight places to be at 29th.
Nat Sciver, who was ruled out of the final ODI against England. Had already won the series, falling to third place behind Beth Mooney. While Alyssa Healy continues to top the ODI rankings.

In the bowlers’ list led by Sophie Ecclestone. Other England spinner Charlie Dean has climbed six places to reach a career-best 24th spot with seven wickets in two matches. On the other hand, South African players have also made good progress despite losing the series 3-0.
Marijne Kapp has jumped six places in the batsmen’s list. She has also climbed two places to third in the all-rounders’ list led by England’s Sciver. While Australia’s Ellyse Perry is in second.
Tryon has improved two places to 20th among batsmen and 10 places to 48th among bowlers. While Nadine de Klerk has moved up from 59th to 52nd in the bowlers’ list.

Meanwhile, in the I Women’s T20 Player Rankings. The first two matches of the Ireland tri-series are also considered, which also includes Australia and Pakistan. Ireland’s Rebecca Stokel has moved up to 88th place after scoring 22 runs against Australia.
Australian bowlers Nicola Carey (up three places to 52nd). And Ashley Gardner (up three places to 57th) and Darcy Brown and Alana King are jointly ranked 161st.
