England star Dani Wyatt signed with Brisbane Heat, and Webber WBBL | 08 has added international firepower to its line-up.
The Heat’s roster for the upcoming season is complete:-
The addition of opener Wyatt, who returns to the WBBL for the first time since playing for the Melbourne Renegades in WBBL|05, completes the Heat’s roster for the upcoming season.

She fell out of the strong international trio along with New Zealand leg-spinner Amelia Kerr and India all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar.
Joe Brisbane joins Australian Commonwealth Games gold medalists Jess Jonassen and Grace Harris on the list.
“Danni is the complete package when it comes to enhancing the skills and strength of our squad,” said Heat coach Ashley Knopke.
“She has been successful around the world, excelling in different teams and in different conditions and we are very excited to have her join the Heat.
The Proficient with Your shot selection:-
“She would complement the list we’ve put together beautifully… (she) is proficient with her shot selection and smart with her game management and she has had the chance of success in the WBBL when she was with the Renegades.” There was a bonus to enjoy.”
The 31-year-old has played 132 T20Is and scored six T20I centuries in his career, including international tons against India and Australia, and most recently scored 65 off 34 balls for the Southern Brave at The Hundred.
“I was lucky to have had a good time in the WBBL before and enjoy my cricket, so it was great to have a call from the Heat to see if I’m interested in coming back to Australia,” Wyatt said.
The Chased a Big Score:-
“My last game in WBBL was against the Heat (in 2019) when we chased a big score to win with a chance to make the final.
“After playing a lot against Jess Jonassen and Amelia Kerr at the international level over the past few seasons, including the most recent Commonwealth Games, I look forward to catching up and enjoying the season’s offer with the heat.”
The Heat, who finished in the top four last season before being defeated by the Adelaide Strikers in the Eliminator, have maintained a relatively stable team.
Wyatt and Vastrakar join the club for the first time:-
While he has a facelift, Kerr WBBL | Returning after taking a break from cricket during 2007, Wyatt and Vastrakar joined the club for the first time.
Poonam Yadav replaces the previous season’s trio of Nadine de Klerk and Aneke. Only one change has been made to Bosch, his local crew.
Teenage leg-spinner Grace Parsons has signed her first WBBL deal, while Georgia Prestige will leave the club, with her next move yet to be confirmed.
The Brisbane Heat will begin the WBBL season on 13 October. Against the Sydney Sixers at Mackay’s Great Barrier Reef Arena.
