England vs West Indies five-match series in Barbados
In the second T20I of the five-match series between England and West Indies in Barbados, the hosts were expecting 61 in just three overs with just two wickets remaining in the shade.

To make matters worse for the tourists, this was not the first time the bowling in the slog overs has come under scrutiny.
In last year’s T20 World Cup semi-final in Abu Dhabi, New Zealand needed 57 runs in just four overs but the objective was chased down with one over remaining.
Incidentally, till then, in T20Is, no team had scored so many runs in the last four overs to chase down an objective.
The Expected to Improve Performance :-
England captain Eoin Morgan admitted that his team expects to improve its performance in the slog overs. After the team’s one-run win, he said, ‘Every team in the world is trying to do well in it.
“It’s the toughest thing in T20 cricket, death-bowling. Conditions did get a little bit better at the end – the ball skidded in the first innings unlike our innings – but eventually, we’re supposed to find good ways of going about it. Ours The subsistence was nowhere near as good as we would like.”
Eoin Morgan mentioned that the plan was to bowl wide of the off-stump and use the longer part of the boundary to deflect the opposition.
Unfortunately for England, only the tall Reece Topley was able to execute the plans. The left-arm bowler bowled wide of the off-stump, adding only his length, scoring only eight runs in the last over.
A Used The Long Side :-
