Tammy Beaumont created history: Tammy Beaumont, the star opener of the England women’s cricket team, created history by scoring a century in The Women’s Hundred on Monday. Welsh Fire captain Tammy Beaumont scored 118 runs in just 61 balls with the help of 20 fours and two sixes in the match played against Trent Rockets in Cardiff.

Tammy Beaumont the world’s first female batter :-

Tammy Beaumont has become the first woman batter to score a century in The Women’s Hundred. With the help of Beaumont’s innings, Welsh Fire scored 181 runs losing three wickets in 100 balls. In response, the team of Trent Rockets could score 140 runs losing 5 wickets in 100 balls. In this way Welsh Fire won the match by 41 runs.

Harmanpreet Kaur’s bat remained silent :-

Chasing a mammoth target of 182, Trent Rockets got off to a strong start with Liezel Lee (26) and Briony Smith (48) sharing a 44-ball 78-run partnership. The bat remained silent for Harmanpreet Kaur, who scored an unbeaten 22 off 23 balls with the help of two fours.

Trent Rockets team could score 140 runs in 100 balls losing 5 wickets. For Welsh Fire, Freya Davies took two wickets. Alex Hartley, Shabnim Ismail and Sophia Dunkley got one wicket each.
