English player Alex Hales announces retirement from international cricket before World Cup 2023

Alex Hales retirement: Only a few months are left in the ODI World 2023. The England team has already suffered a major setback before this. The team’s all-rounder Alex Hales has announced his retirement from international cricket. Alex Hales bids adieu to 12 years of international career.

Did debut in T20I against India in 2011 :-

Hales made his T20I debut against India in August 2011 and made his ODI debut against India in 2014 as well. Since then he has played 75 T20Is, 70 ODIs for England. Hales has scored 2074 runs in T20s with one century. At the same time, scored 2419 runs in ODIs with 6 centuries. Alex Hales made his Test debut in 2015 against South Africa. He has scored 573 runs in 11 Tests.

Alex Hales retirement: Took farewell as world champion :-

Alex Hales was known for his aggressive batting. Hales bid farewell to international cricket as T20 World Champion. Contributed brilliantly to make England champions in 2022 T20 World Champion. In the semi-final against India, he scored a brilliant unbeaten 86 to take his team to the final.

Played innings of 171 runs in ODIs :-

Alex Hales scored 171 out of his team’s total of 444 against Pakistan in 2016. In 2018, Hales accounted for 147 of England’s 481 runs against Australia. Hales played his last T20 international match in 2022 against Pakistan. The last ODI was played in the year 2019. At the same time, played in the last Test in 2016.
