Former captain of South Africa’s T20 team, all-rounder Farhan Behardeen has retired from international cricket. He announced his decision on social media.
Farhan Behardeen, 39, played 59 ODIs in his international career. During this, he managed to score 1,074 runs with the bat. Along with this, he also took 14 wickets. In T20, he scored 518 runs in 38 matches and also took three wickets. He led the team in a three-match T20I series in Sri Lanka in 2017.

He played his first class match in 2004 and scored 7000 runs in 125 matches. He waited eight years to make his debut in the South Africa team.
After that, he was continuously a part of the format played with the white ball. Farhan Behardeen played in the 2012, 2014 and 2016 T20 World Cups as well as the 2015 ODI World Cup.
