Former Coach Ravi Shastri advised, Team India Should Maintain this Attitude in T20

New Delhi: The Indian cricket team is all set to participate in the Asia Cup after registering a 3-0 win on the tour of Zimbabwe. In such a situation, former coach Ravi Shastri has advised Team India not to change their current aggressive attitude of batting in the T20 format.

In the last T20 World Cup, the Indian team was knocked out of the tournament by batting in the traditional way. That was Ravi Shastri’s last campaign as coach and Virat Kohli’s T20 captain.

Was batting scared before

In such a situation, Ravi Shastri said, the Indian team should not change its approach. Which he has shown after the T20 World Cup. Even when I was the coach, we discussed this. Our top order batted in a bit intimidated keeping in mind the batting of the middle order.

Senior players can perform like youth

In the absence of senior players, the aggressive attitude shown by the young players. Can the senior players do the same after the return, Ravi Shastri said, why not! He is very experienced, he has played ample number of IPL and T20 matches. It will not be difficult for them to adjust. The team has enough depth in the batting with the presence of Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja. These players have the ability to handle the team even if the top order fails.

He is the most important link in the Indian team. We missed his bowling in last year’s World Cup. The quality they have is quality and no one is even close to it. He and Jasprit Bumrah will have to be closely monitored so that they do not get injured. Both are very important players of the team.
