Hardik Pandya captaincy: The condition of the Indian team in the five-match T20I series against the West Indies was in disarray. For the first time in the history of T20I cricket, India had to face defeat in a five-match series against the Caribbean team.

Hardik Pandya disappointed a lot with his captaincy in this series and many of his decisions are very shocking. Former India opener Aakash Chopra is also very unhappy with Hardik’s captaincy and has taken a dig at the star all-rounder.

Aakash Chopra started Hardik’s class :-

Talking on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said, “He (Hardik Pandya) captained only two seasons in IPL and his captaincy was amazing in both the seasons. When he captained in IPL, he had a clear pattern. You could tell in advance what he was going to do. You might have been surprised once or twice, but other than that there was no flaw in his captaincy. Maybe it was the brilliance of Ashish Nehra and Hardik’s pairing.”

Former Indian player raised many big questions on the captaincy of Hardik Pandya.

Aakash further said this :-

The former opener further added, “However, when Hardik was captaining the Indian team, there were a lot of ups and downs. There was no set pattern, which is fine at times because you want to surprise the opposition. It’s fine if your team is benefiting from it, but what if your players are not getting ready because of it?”
